Madia Levin, PhD, MCom, graduated from the University of Pretoria with a post-graduate degree in Organizational Psychology and conducted her doctoral research into the organizational psychodynamics that influence the strategic management of World Heritage sites. Dr. Levin has experience teaching and consulting in Organizational Behavior, I/O and General Psychology, with special affinity for International and Cross-Cultural Psychology having led many study-abroad experiences. She currently works as a professor in the Psychology doctoral program of the JFK School of Psychology and Social Sciences at National University. Dr. Levin’s core research interests remain in organizational psychology and her current focus includes understanding how organization members construct or make sense of their reality as a social defense against anxiety, and how organizational psychology and culture dynamics interact with behaviors. In her free time, she enjoys her family, 80s music and star wars (mostly in that order).
