Sharon has served in the capacity of course faculty, various dissertation committee member roles, and assessment leadership positions with NCU/NU since May 2013. Prior to coming to NCU/NU, she held leadership positions in the health and finance industries and taught undergraduate and graduate courses at Lehigh University, Muhlenberg College, and Penn State College of Medicine, Hershey PA. As Director of Resident Research at Lehigh Valley Health Network, she enjoyed assisting Hospital Residency Divisions in managing their resident research programs and mentoring physician residents through their research projects. She holds a Ph.D. in Applied Social Research with a track in Management of Technology, a MS degree in Health and Human Resources, and a BS degree in Community Health Education and Sociology. In addition, she has earned an Advanced Study Certification in Epidemiology and Biostatistics (Drexel University), Clinical Research Professional certification (CCRP) through the Society of Clinical Research Associates, and Project Management certification (PMP) through the Project Management Institute. She currently lives in the Lehigh Valley of northeast Pennsylvania (near the Poconos, or a bit west of New York City and north of Philadelphia).
