Ms. Donalee Waschak obtained her RN License in 1989 from Los Angeles County USC Medical Center as diploma Graduate of Nursing. Ms. Waschak Education continued over the next 20 years obtaining her BSN in 1999 and MSN focusing on Leadership and Administration in 2009. Ms. Waschak is an active practicing Critical Care Registered Nurse and License PHN. Ms. Waschak maintains competencies in the following disciplines, Pediatric ICU, Adult ICU all disciplines, Critical Care Transport, Emergency Room Trauma TNCC, High Risk OBGYN, Recovery Room, PACU, short stay surgical center, and Medical Surgical all disciplines. Ms. Waschak has served as a Kidney Transplant coordinator and Home Health Manger serving the Los Angeles and Kern County. Ms. Waschak has spent over 30 years educating nurses as an adjunct professor at a community college, hospital educator, American Heart Association CPR, ACLS, PALS, First Aide instructor, and a certified Bradley Childbirth Educator. In 2009, Ms. Waschak joined National University founding the RN BSN Completion Program and has continued to serve as the Assistant Program Director (APD) for the RN BSN Program for over 10 years. Ms. Waschak maintains a clinical associate faculty role in the RN BSN Completion Program, Informatics, and Allied Health departments. Ms. Waschak continues to serve on various University committees. Ms. Waschak has become the (Subject Matter Expert) SME for Quality Improvement, Leadership, Evidence based practice and Population Health and maintains course lead over multiple courses each year. Ms. Waschak enjoys working with the community and has volunteered as a Community Educator with the City of Santa Clarita, The Painted Turtle, AVID, and Pride in Parenting, Ms. Waschak serves on the Board of Directors for the Sigma Theta Tau Omega Omega Chapter. Ms. Waschak maintains a professional nursing philosophy that supports collaboration, evidence base practice, and fellowship.
