Duties include, the creation and management of budget for the School of Law; hiring and evaluating 5 full-time and approximately 30-40 part time faculty; managing 3 non-faculty direct-reports including Academic Operations Manager and 2 staff members; creation and management of curriculum, class and faculty scheduling; maintaining accreditation with the California Committee of Bar Examiners. • Interim Dean, School of Law- continued with all responsibilities of Associate Dean as well as sitting on numerous committees and task forces associated with facilitating the merger of Northcentral University and National University; integrating policies and procedure; creating a new College of Law and Public Service; merging two universities with different modalities and different instances of D2L/Brightspace; attending and participating in quarterly Deans’ meetings and strategic planning for new program development. • Curriculum Director- led development and creation of new, online curriculum for both JD and Paralegal/Legal Studies programs as well as maintenance and redevelopment of classes as needed. • Chair of ABA approved Paralegal and BA programs - primarily responsible for day-to-day operations of paralegal and BA Programs (hiring and overseeing faculty, scheduling classes, admissions, student issues, overall administration of program); maintaining ABA approval (including filings related to change of owner-ship and major change request relating to curriculum, all required reporting to ABA, tracking changes in de-livery modalities due to Covid-19). • Professor (and Adjunct Professor)- developed and taught the following classes (both online and on ground): Legal Methods, Professional Responsibility, Alternative Dispute Resolution, Remedies& Family Law. University of the Rockies, Adjunct Professor of Conflict Resolution, - Nov. 2010- Oct. 2018 • Taught online classes for Master’s Degree and Psy.D. students in an Organizational Psychology program with an emphasis on conflict resolution. • Classes included: Diagnosing Conflict, Intra and Interpersonal Conflict, Influencing Leaders to Resolve Conflict, Communications Strategies for Conflict Resolution, Managing Group and Organizational Conflict, Multicultural Conflict Resolution, and Developing Conflict Resolution Plans and Policies. • While at the Rockies, became a certified Peer Reviewer with Quality Matters and conducted a class re-view for the University of the Rockies to ensure compliance with Quality Matters standards. Mediation Trainer, Center for Human Development; Pleasant Hill, CA- April, 2010; May 2014 • Serve as coach and trainer for students taking 40-hour mediation course.
