Jenna Wilson is a professor in the marriage and family therapy department in the JFK School of Psychology and Social Sciences at National University. Formerly, in addition to professor, she held the role of Director of Clinical Training for MAMFT, PhD, and DMFT Programs. She earned a Bachelors in psychology with a minor in sociology, a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy, and a PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy. As a professor in higher education since 2015, she has taught several graduate courses, has developed new courses and curriculum for the department of family therapy, and has clinical experience in settings supporting various populations as a clinical director and in private practice. She has received awards from two universities acknowledging her commitment to student success, teaching excellence, and outstanding student engagement. She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, an Approved Supervisor with the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, and a Florida Qualified Supervisor for MFT and MHC registered interns. Her research interest explores the role of hope in family systems theories and clinical supervision. She has presented her research at national and international conferences and is a published author in her field.
