25% Tuition Reduction Scholarship for Southwest Airlines Employees and Retirees

National University is proud to partner with Southwest Airlines to offer employees and retirees a 25% Tuition Reduction Scholarship on most associates, bachelor’s, and master’s degree programs*. Southwest employees and retirees are also eligible for a 15% Tuition Reduction Scholarship on doctoral programs. The Southwest Airlines Tuition Reduction Scholarship is a great benefit for working adults who want to expand their knowledge and skills for professional and personal growth. At National University, employees can reach their goals with affordable and convenient online classes designed for the working professional. Additionally, Southwest Airlines employee spouses and dependents are eligible for a 15% tuition reduction scholarship towards most degree programs.
As part of our partnership with Southwest Airlines, National University provides prior learning credit for three company leadership training programs.
To utilize your Tuition Reduction Scholarship, email your enrollment advisor one of the following items from the verifying documents list. Get started today and join the over 240,000 NU alumni.
- Send an email to your advisor from your work email address
- Provide a copy of a paycheck stub from the last 90 days
- Provide an email or letter from your supervisor or HR representative
- Provide a copy of your employee badge
- Provide a screenshot of your employee portal
Get Course Credit for Your Work Experience at Southwest Airlines
As part of our partnership with Southwest Airlines, National University provides prior learning credit for company leadership training programs. When you successfully complete any of the Southwest Airlines Training programs listed here, you’ll receive the specified number of course credits when you enroll in one the corresponding NU degree program.
- Bachelor of Arts in Management – 1 Course Credit (4.5 Quarter Units): MGT 309 Principles of Mgt & Organization
- Master of Business Administration – 1 Course Credit (4.5 Quarter Units): MGT 603 Business Operations Management
- Bachelor of Science in Project Management – 3 Course Credits (13.5 Quarter Units): LED 400 Intro to Leadership, LED 410 Leading Diverse Groups and Teams, MGT 422* Team Building, Interpersonal Dynamics
*Students can only receive one course credit for MGT 422 if they complete both High Impact Leader Trainings.
